You are invited to Bend, OR, in 2015!
Friends and Colleagues:
On behalf of the Conference Planning Committee, as well as the ACSM Northwest Executive Board, it is my pleasure to invite you to the 2015 ACSM Northwest Annual Conference, “From Trails to Treadmills: The Impact of Sports Medicine in the Northwest”. We are very excited this year because this is the very first time that our conference has visited Bend, OR.
The planning of this year’s conference is a direct result of feedback from previous conference attendees. Specifically, the program includes a greater variety of research topics, longer breaks between talks, as well as continued emphasis on poster and slide presentations by the region’s brightest student researchers. The conference planning committee is especially proud of this year’s line-up of national caliber speakers including former national ACSM President Steven Blair from the University of South Carolina, the University of Oregon's John Halliwill, Olympic gold medalist and World Decathlon Champion Ashton Eaton, as well as ultradistance runner and PT Nikki Kimball from Montana.
Please join us at The Riverhouse Hotel & Convention Center this February 27-28, 2015, and enjoy a weekend in beautiful Bend, OR.
Train hard - Have fun - Go fast... See you in Bend,
Dan Heil, Ph.D., FACSM
Chair, ACSM Northwest Conference Committee
